Nikolai Trunichkin, the digital project owner of the Moscow Exchange (MOEX), Russia's largest stock market, has confirmed that MOEX will not participate in the Russian cryptocurrency trading pilot program. The decision comes as the Russian State Duma passed a bill in July allowing digital currency trading on exchanges under the supervision of the central bank. Contrary to MOEX's attitude, the St. Petersburg Stock Exchange (SPB Exchange) said it will actively participate in the pilot project.
On July 8th, Boerse Stuttgart, Germany's second largest stock exchange, will expand its market data to include cryptocurrency ESG (environmental, social and governance) data provided by Crypto Risk Metrics and distributed through Boerse's existing network.
